I went to a catholic school, and was taught that when Christ died for our sins, he was nailed to a cross, beaten and whipped, and wore a crown of thorns. so when the class was asked to draw a picture representing Easter, instead of drawing decorated eggs like all the other kids, I drew a picture of Christ suffering for our sins. Blood and all. My picture was not hung up with the rest of the class, and the teacher tried having me put in counceling. from that incident, I kept my art to myself for 40 years. So, 40 years later… I decided to do that picture again.
